MEDICINAL MUD
The caribbean coast of Colombia is blessed with geographical gems that capture the imagination of those who visit our beautiful city, but none are able to purify the skin in the same way as the mud volcano El Totumo, found close to Cartagena. Here you will find one of the best examples of a mud volcano.
Lie back and enjoy, you will soon be drifting off into a state of well-being. When you feel like you are about to become one with the earth, just climb back down the staircase and stroll down to the nearby cienaga, where you can wash yourself down.
HORSE CARRIAGE
Cartagena is a living museum of 16th- and 17th-century architecture where flowers spill out of elegant balconies. It is a must for visitors to ride the tipical horse-drawn carriages and listen to them clip-clop through the narrow streets of the old city. After a busy day discovering the most beautiful city of the americas, you must ride your carriange and spend the evening relaxing on our world famous plazas and outdoor cafes.
CHIVA BUS RUMBA
This is one of the mayor attractions Cartagena's nightlife has to offer. The city is festive and happy at night and you can ride the traditional "chivas", a typical wood bus painted with tropical colors that include a musical band and open bar with Colombian national liquors.
You will visit the party sites, the romantic places, the narrow streets of the old city, the outside cafes. Also, you will visit the modern tourist Bocagrande and the residential island of Manga and go back to the walled city while stopping at a typical fritanga to have a taste of the local delights. The ride includes a stop a local club and a welcome cocktail.
The party chiva ride lasts about two and a half hours driving through the main neighborhoods of the city including the walled city. During the ride we provide open bar with Colombian liquors and live music. Near the walled city you will be able to taste the typical Cartagena fritos, a typical Cartagena snack that includes patties and other fried delicacies. At the end of the ride, the chiva stops at a club for those who wish to stay. The chiva continues to drop the rest of the passengers at their hotel.
